We are Pyle Super League and play in the Glamorgan Dragon League.
We play out of our club The Royal British Legion – Pyle Branch on Tuesday evenings twice a month.
The Glamorgan Dragon League provides a very competitive platform for darts players in the South Wales area.
Consisting of teams from across the whole of South Wales, the League was formed in 2021. From then, it has never looked back, going from strength to strength, thanks to the rising popularity of darts, especially in the South Wales area following the success of Welsh players such as Gerwyn Price, Robert Owen, Jonny Clayton - each of whom have played in Super League at some stage before turning professional.
Darts teams are made up of 8 players, playing individual 501 games, best of 7 legs. Opponents are drawn out against each other on the night with the away team starting in games 1, 3, 5 and 7 and home side starting 2, 4, 6 and 8. The home side is also responsible for chalking and checking on the night. Food is also put on for teams and spectators.
We welcome applications from new players who are looking to play a more competitive but friendly game of darts taking your game to the next level.
We also encourage spectators to spur the boys on and bring real atmosphere to Match nights
